I can't tell how much I enjoyed yesterdays fishing. Now why the @%*# did I say "can't" when I really could tell you.

It was a terrific day! I'm sure there will be many more. The morning started out with a distant threat of a blow but thankfully it slipped past us. The first spot produced an enjoyable mixed bag with the most important thing being... we had dinner.

Then as the day wore on our rods bent and even a hook straighting under the power from Reds, Snook and the always tough Jack Crevalle. If only Jacks where good enough to eat.

I'm looking forward to the next time and I'm sure some of ur other members will be signing on.

Thanks very much for the photographs. We ain't pretty but those fish sure are a knock-out.

Thanks again for the great fishing trip. That was a great introduction to inshore fishing for all of us, we all learned so much. We couldn't have asked for nicer weather or Captain. I have a feeling we'll be seeing you on future trips to Sarasota. I think with the species that we caught on our trip with what we caught in the surf and on the point where you picked us up we had 13 different species of fish.
On our last day Sarah landed this nice snook on a live shrimp and needed some assistance getting it reeled in, he put up quite a fight. I caught a smaller one while bringing in the line by hand due to a big tangle in the line. We of course released them to fight another day. I also ended up catching a nice flounder in that same spot, and finished the trip off with a good size sheepshead.
Already looking forward to next year, until then more trout on the fly practice for me.

The other day you took out my stepdad Bill and I. I just wanted to say thank you for a great time. It was really fun to catch that Goliath Grouper. It sure got the adrenaline pumping., We had a lot of fun catching the wide variety of fish and hopefully next time were in Florida we can come out with ya and get a big red fish, and maybe try going for cudas and sharks. We ate the two snapper we caught for lunch and it was really good. Thank you for the photos, they turned out great. And I was wondering if you could email me both of those photos? HAHA. It was ver good. We ate it very simply-lemon and butter.

We had a wonderful time out there Terry. Thanks again. We're totally hooked on Siesta Beach and will most certainly be back. I continued fishing the rest of the week. Each morning I walked a mile and a half down the Point of Rocks, usually beating Lee there, and threw the Yuzuiri pinfinfish diver which was the only lure I used all week. Then the rest of the day was spent right outside our beach house swimming with the kids and fishing all day. FABULOUS. I caught some big snook (biggest was 29"), spanish mackerel, sea trout, sea bass, blue runner (some big ones), smal snapper, and some others I didn't know what the heck they were. I could go on and on.

Anyway....thanks again and we hope to see you sooner rather than later.

I was kind of concerned about weather or not we would like the redfish David caught, none of us has ever eaten it before.

My wife, Edith, marinated it in a sauce that she had used before for about an hour or so. I barbecued it and of course and as things happen, although the gauge of my propane barbecue indicated that we had enough gas, it ran out before the fish was done. I changed bottles and had to guess at the timing and was lucky and hit it right on.

The fish was dynamite, we have some left over and Edith will make fish salad out of it. Very white, very mild and very sweet.

Once again, we can't thank you enough for a great afternoon and a wonderful dinner this evening.

We just wanted to write and thank you for a great time! We also wanted everyone to know what a great trip you provided not only for my kids but my wife and I as well. We started out by seeing manatees and dolphins. Then the kids did a little fishing and caught numerous types of fish. Then we did some sightseeing and birding. And just when the kids needed to run around we did some shelling on a sandbar/island only accessable by boat. Your all around knowledge and patience with the kids made for a great trip. Captain Terry,  I want to thank you for the INCREDIBLE fishing experience we had on Thursday (it was my first gulf experience). I can't even venture a guess on how many fish we caught. (easily 100+) I hope your hands are heeled up from all the leaders you had to re-tie due to the damage ALL those mackerel caused. NON-STOP action is/was an understatement. Collin had a blast and already said he doesn't want to go to Disney next year and wants to know if we can fish with you next year. My father-in-law mentioned we could go twice in the same week and spend less money than Disney. (Sounds good to me)  FYI We had a pretty big fish dinner that night and let me tell you that the cobia is one of the best tasting fish I have ever eaten. I also liked the pompano & mackerel. Just a note to thank you for taking David out twice!! on your boat. Both David and Colin enjoyed the trips and we enjoyed eating the fish caught. The two trips out with you made the holiday.;9 varieties on the first trip (6 I had never seen before) and 38 snook and a big red on the second. I have seen our photographs on your website and we know who put the big red on David's hook (including David).

From your website I see that your daughter is in the gulf. It's a pity we never spoke about our families because my eldest daughter is in the British Army and has served in Kosovo, Macedonia and Northern Ireland. She is 34 years old (this weekend) and a Major in the Royal Artillery. Her husband (also a Major) worked with the american forces as a liaison officer during the Gulf War.

If I never again visit America (this was the first time) I will remember you as a true professional but more than that a Gentalman
